Jan Dibbets in De Balie

The Princess Margriet Award jury member, Jan Dibbets will be at De Balie, in Amsterdam on February 18 2012 discussing the development in photography since the mid-sixties. Looking at the story of photography with its image as just a means of documentation to a more creative and artistic format – one that is exciting and used-by many artists.

Jan Dibbets, is joined by Rudi Fuchs, art historian and former director of the Stedelijk Museum, Luk Lambrecht, critic of Belgian newspaper De Morgen and artistic coordinator of bkSM, and Erik Verhagen, art critic and assistant professor at the University of Valenciennes.
