Tandem Community & Participation is the latest addition to the Tandem programmes. It is for cultural organisations working in the field of voluntary arts, community arts, (non-formal) arts & citizen education and other forms of creative community development.
This Tandem is for organisations based in the Netherlands who want to set up long-term working relations with organisations based in Germany, Belgium, and the UK. The aim of the Tandem is to connect and inspire cultural managers by supporting the sharing of knowledge and experience across geographical and cultural borders. By doing so, Tandem is promoting innovative artistic expression, both locally and on a transnational level.
The Tandem jury has selected the four Tandems that will continue the Community & Participation programme 2013-2014. In October the Tandem Community & Participation programme started with the Partner Forum. In this meeting applicants have the opportunity to meet each other to try and find their creative match. From this stage of the programme the applicants create a project proposal which the Tandem jury then use to select the successful TANDEM partnerships.
