Visual Culture Research Center (VCRC) and Athens Biennale courageously show
how culture can be a means of resistance and creative subversion. Their practices of solidarity and inventive models of self-organisation redefine the notion of ‘agora’ in their respective urban contexts. This conversation will reflect on situations of crisis and the way their cultural practices are a means for rethinking Europe’s public sphere from its so-called peripheries.
Conversation with Vasyl Cherepanyn and Nataliia Neshevets (VCRC), Xenia Kalpaktsoglou and Poka-yio (Athens Biennale), moderated by Massimiliano Mollona
